AND NOW, FOR SOME THINGS, NOT QUITE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

Some interesting fare today...
-----
A recent editorial by Jim Sinkinson, Director of FLAME, a pro-Israeli group, begins this way: "Israel's forceful, if belated response to more than 6,000 Hamas rocket attacks on its civilians over the last three years should be cheered by every nation. Good news: One by one, we're seeing support seeping at least from some of them. Because make no mistake, Hamas's unremitting attacks are not just a life-threatening encroachment on Israel's sovereignty. Hamas represents the global Islamic jihad---what Hamas wants to do to Israel is what all jihadis want to do the U.S., Europe and every Arab and Muslim state: Take it over and impose fundamentalist Islamic rule."

It's a viewpoint the liberal hasbeens in the fourth estate would like to conveniently ignore, perhaps mostly because it's right. I encourage you to check it out for yourself @ http://www.factsandlogic.org/

Bringing us back to reality, there is the 6-year old Virginia boy who missed the bus to school, who then decided to take matters into his own hands and borrow the family car while his mom was asleep.

Sounds like he didn't do much worse than some first time drivers. Of course, I'm glad that neither he nor anyone else was hurt.

Or maybe not hurt too bad. After all, the story took pains to point out he wasn't wearing a saftey belt.

I doubt that it fit.

But that kids not as bad as this one: How about the 4 year old who shot his teen babysitter, and some other teens in the room?

Apparently he was angry the boy stepped on his toe. I suspect that's not the only thing he was angry about.

I guess it's a good thing Santa doesn't come for almost another whole year, huh?

Unless you are the Arabic man who found Christmas in January, awarded $240,000 because an airline made him cover up his shirt with Arabic writing on it.

Okay, so I suppose his rights were violated. But this part of the story caught my attention:

"However, rights groups and representatives of the Muslim community say the security measures have led to frequent discrimination and harassment."

I sure wish those same security measures were in place on 9-10, don't you?

It seems no security measures were in place for one Jersey City hospital, which apparently threw out the remains of a deceased infant instead of making sure it was safely stored until the funeral director could remove it.

Here's a case where I will have a hard time feeling sorry for anyone who gets fired over this -- and one hopes there will be those held accountable.

It will be equally hard to sympathize for the hospital when the parents new job becomes walking to the mailbox and depositing their check.

Finally, Prez-elect Barry is going to have to remember, "If Mamma's not happy, ain't nobody happy" -- and he's got several Mamma's to keep happy, including Sen. Diane F. from the left state of California.

Too bad their making Barry cow tow this early. Gonna be a long and fun four years when stuff like this happens.

To bad with the Dems in control of everything there won't be enough fun to cover all the damage they can and will do in the next four years...

"Even so, come Lord Jesus!"

Thanks for stopping in today!
