Prez-elect Barry's choice for Chief of Staff, Rahm Emmanuel, a man known to have a foul mouth and a vile temperament where his "enemies" are concerned, is likely connected in some monetary way with getting-more-disgraced-by-the-day Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich... skipping over lots `o' other matters his choice for Treasury Secretary, Timothy F. Geithner, failed to pay taxes and employed an illegal housekeeper -- AND he will likely get a free pass, though what would have happened if this had been an incoming Republican Administration?... this in spite of record deficits now and in the years to come, not simply because of the war, but because of Barry's demands to fix the economy, splurging us into TRILLION dollar deficits... and yet his inauguration is going to be a record setter at over FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS?
Of course, the libs and their media lap dogs howled and scream in profuse protest over the waste when it was Bush 2's swearing in ceremonies... But, hey, he's a liberal Democrat, so that makes it all right. In fact, some feel it's just the right time to celebrate.
Of course, we all just KNOW Mr. O is going to magically fix everything. Here's how one emailer put it:
-----
"Happy New Year 2009"
I want you to be among the first of all my friends that I wish a Happy New Year to . . .
As I reflect on 2008, I can say we had a great year:
Blacks are happy; Obama was elected.
Whites are happy, OJ is in jail.
Democrats are happy; George Bush is leaving office.
Republicans are happy: Democrats will finally quit saying George Bush stole the election.
And all of us are so happy; The election is finally over!
I think 2009 will be even better: Immediately after his inauguration, Obama will balance the budget, revive the economy, solve the real estate problem, solve the auto industry problem, solve our gas/alternative energy problem, stop the fires and mudslides in California, ban hurricanes and tornadoes, stop identity theft, reverse global warming, find Osama, solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, get rid of corruption in government and achieve world peace . Then on the 7th day, He will rest.
My best wishes for 2009!

The following quote was added as a kicker: "The government cannot give to anyone anything that it does not first take from someone else."
Now, I understand why some feel this way. Giving Mr. O the benefit of the doubt, that he may not have a Messiah complex, it sure does seem like everyone else who worships him and puts him on their pedestal wants to foist that on him -- except for some in the Islamic sphere of influence, including reportedly the OTHER Mr. O: Bin Laden.
Honestly, doesn't that seem to be "the party line" -- the liberals and their lap-dog media's party line -- giving a direct line to the party they plan to throw for Mr. O's swearing in?
Ah, well...such is life...
I truly wish this President well, even while having basically no confidence in his plans, policies or proposed programs, and I will pray for him. And perhaps I'll learn from when Mr. Clinton was in office, when God really smote my heart for joining and laughing over all those emails from those opposed to Billy, making fun of him -- to wit, to not forward those types of emails, but use every single one as a reminder to pray for the President, because God commands it in His Word.
< I'll skip the references, you either know them or you don't. `Nuff said. >
Maybe that's the best advice going in to this post-election season. Before the next one starts, promptly, on Wednesday, January 21, 2009.
I guess I need to be less political and more "religious," huh?
Thanks for stopping in today. My best blessings to you. I remain --
Timotheus, a brother in Christ
